Mullein

Mullein, Verbascum thapsus is a medicinal weed. It has oval-lanceolate shaped, light grayish-green, fuzzy leaves that resemble bunny ears, with bright yellow flowers growing on a stalk. It can grow up to 6 feet tall. The Catawba, Delaware, and Cherokee tribes made a syrup from Mullein’s leaves to soothe throats and relieve coughs. It relieves pain, muscle spasms, and can heal wounds. It is antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and can alleviate symptoms of tuberculosis. Mullein expels mucus and phlegm from the body. It is supportive of the respiratory and nervous systems. Spiritually, Mullein is ruled by Saturn and fire and it has been used for softening and releasing grief, connecting with your inner voice, divination, protection, exorcism, courage, health & love.

Caution: Mullein shouldn’t be used for patients who feel cold and dry or have cancer.

Mullein can be found in Sweet Like Honey Herbals 'Be still & know that I am God Psalm 46:10' smoke blend.
